Another weekend gone, with nothing to show for it...

Wow, this weekend has certainly flown by. It seems like it was just Friday. I don’t feel like I got anything accomplished. I had big plans for my two days off, but that didn’t work out very well. I guess plans were made to be broken, as the saying goes. But, this week will be better. I’m going to move forward. I’m going to get some words down. I’m going to write.

As I told you a few weeks ago (wow, has it really been that long?), I have been working on a new story idea. I really like the idea, and I have been encouraged by others to get busy on it (waves to Gracen and Tierney). They are right! I do need to get busy! The problem is, I’m not sure I remember how. I feel stuck. I don’t know where to go from here. It shouldn’t be this difficult. Put one word in front of the other, LOL.

Well, while I’m figuring this whole thing out, my writing is stalled. I’m thinking about pulling out an old story to work on some revisions. At least that way I’d feel like I’m accomplishing something. And, they really need to be finished. They’ve been sitting idle for way to long. Yes, it is they, there are more than one.

So, those are my plans for this week. Hopefully, I’ll be able to complete at least a little bit of them. What are your tricks for when you’re stuck? I’m taking suggestions! Happy reading and writing to all!
