Spring Break!

This week has been amazing! Sleeping in with the kids, strolling outside with a cup of joe in my hand, watching my kids play in their brand new sand and swing on the swingset. I love listening to the birds chirp. My oldest daugther is gearing up for her 14th birthday and making plans! Hard to believe she'll be in high school next year! Yikes!

All this beautiful spring weather has pushed us outdoors where I work on my WIP in the sunshine, sip some wine and enjoy the soft breeze! Ahhhh....this is the life!

We all hear that writers live in such solitude. This is true to some extent but we all have so much going on besides writing...some of us have kids, a wife or husband, a boyfriend or girlfriend, our extended families and our lovable pets. And if this is solitude..I'm loving it! I feel so lucky for all the good in my life...my three beautiful children make everything more fun!

Tomorrow when you go to pinching those not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day, pinch the ones you love just BECAUSE!

Happy Spring! Happy St. Patty's Day!

What? You're on spring break already? We still have a month to go.
I agree. With a mommy writer like me, my "solitude" is writing while my girls are doing their homework or while watching basketball games with my husband. :D

We have our corned beef ready for Sait Paddy's Day. Whohoo!

My 14 year old is a freshman this year. She survived. My 13 year old is a 7th grader. We have 7th and 8th middle school here. She got lost going to her classroom two times, couldn't open her locker a couple times. But she, too, survived. :D

Yummy! Corned beef!

Sigh...I know...it's amazing our kids survive the madness of so many classes, lockers and so forth. I sure spread my kids out..lol..my oldest starts high school next year, my middle baby girl starts first grade and my baby boy is 2...so whew...maybe I can handle it if I can deal with one new school at a time..ha ha.
