Spring Fever has begun!

I’ve been working like crazy lately. It was okay when it was cold and ugly outside, but now that the sun has been shining and the temperature’s rising, I’m feeling the fever. It’s really hard to concentrate when I know I could be outside having fun.

This is not a good time to be losing my concentration, that’s for sure. We’re waiting on state to come in and do their annual inspection of our facility. Which really isn’t a big deal. We’re a good home and we provide good care. It’s just that this is my first inspection and I’m nervous. I know I really shouldn’t be, but I am anyway. I tend to worry about stupid things I shouldn’t.

Not only that, but I’m studying to take my Nursing Home Administrator test to get my Administrator’s License. I really don’t want to screw that up. It would mean at least doubling my salary. I could really use that right now. So, fingers crossed that I can get through this in one piece.

I really haven’t given up on my writing, I swear! I’ve just had too much on my plate lately. Once I get through this test, I promise to do better again. Cross my heart. I’m actually excited to get busy with my writing projects, which I haven’t been for quite some time. But, I know for the sake of good writing, I don’t have the ability to do it justice right now. That will change.

So, anyway, spring fever is not helping out my situation at the moment. I keep fantasizing about hopping in my car and driving to somewhere fun. Anywhere but here. I’m a major road trip freak! To me, that’s the best thing in the world. I love to travel.

Have you been feeling the bug? Has spring fever set in for you yet? How do you deal with it? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Spring fever is here. I want to get out and dig in the dirt of my flower garden.
Trouble is----too much rain. So I will just have to read a book until
the ground dries out enough to work.

Oh, yes! I can't wait to see all the pretty flowers blooming. I can't work in the garden, though. I do not have a green thumb. But, I do appreciate all those who do, so I can enjoy the flowers, too!

Thanks for the comment.

I have it too. In the spring we swim but it has been raining for days. The rain reminds me of growing up in Oregon but I want it to be hot!!! Hear my whine? If only Mother Nature would listen lol.

Glad you're doing good though, Sierra!

Oh yeah! Spring cleaning. Husband and I hauled more junk to the recycling center to clear the downstairs room. Now, I'm almost done fixing it. It used to be my toy, used clothes, junk storage room. I repainted the whole room and ordered new blinds from Home Depot. I like working downstairs. It's a big project but the result is awesome.

Nursing Home Admin test? Nice Sierra. I'm done with tests. LOL Miss talking to you.
