Busy...busy...busy...

Each week it seems Saturday catches up to me before I know it and, once again, I haven't prepared a blog post. This week has been crazy, my husband was out of town and it was just me and my two boys trying to connect the dots. Between school, homework, orthodontist appointments, a trip to the dentist for my youngest to have two teeth pulled, basketball practice, karate and trying to keep the housework current, cook dinner, wash clothes, do my paralegal job and add in some writing, I've been spinning in circles. The good thing is, I did get a lot of writing completed on Friday, a little over 4,000 words and my book is almost complete! Woohoo! Seeing an end in sight is so awesome! Oh, and to top it all off, I've had my first taste of book piracy! Grrr...

My youngest son won his first basketball game today and scored 4 points for his team! So, their record is now 1-2, not an amazing start to the season, but we're living in the moment and enjoying the win!

My oldest son was invited to an participate in the "Elite Passing Academy" for football quarterbacks and wide receivers. Only "the best" (or so they say) are invited each year to participate, with the groups remaining small, so that individualized one-on-one instruction can be given. And it has a hefty price tag...$500 for 2 hours a week for 4 months. My husband tried to make me feel better by saying that was about $21 an hour for the academy. Didn't help my feelings one bit!

And so that has been my week.

So odd...I posted a comment, but it disappeared into cyberspace I guess. *scratches head*

Anyway, I said something along the lines of this:

I think I enjoy life, but sometimes it goes by at such a blur I'm not sure. LOL Having kids involved in one or two things at a time, really keeps your wheels spinning! BUT most importantly, I wouldn't trade anything in the world for the time I have with my sons and husband!! They mean the world to me!!

You have an active life and I know you are proud of your boys. Congrats on their big win. They say you will stay young if you are active, is this true??? LOL
Sounds like you have a well rounded life and I hope your continue to enjoy all aspects of your life.
